Deborah A. Birnbaum

To her clients, Deborah Birnbaum is the accountant who moves obstacles out of the way. Associated with Botwinick & Company since 1971, she has found a niche helping small businesses develop accounting systems that effectively help them grow their businesses. Debbie says the firm prides itself on its hands-on-approach. “Each partner can jump in and assist our clients,” she says. “So there is always continuity.”

Debbie began her career at Botwinick & Company while attaining her B.A. at Fordham University in 1973. Realizing her passion for accounting she returned to college and earned a second degree in accounting from William Paterson University.

According to Debbie, the greatest part of being an accountant is helping her clients achieve their goals and have a successful business. She does that through her solid knowledge of a business' day-to-day operations.  Her expertise lies in accounting, tax services - both corporate and individual, Quickbook Consulting and Bankruptcy Reporting.
